Events
The Interfraternity Council and its chapters have all sorts of events throughout the year. Some of them are philanthropic, some of them are just for fun, all of them require the dedication of the Cornell Greeks.
Some of those events include:
Greek Week
A week of competitions between teams of Greek chapters that brings together thousands of Greeks as well as raises money for philanthropy.

Faculty Appreciation Ceremony
The Greeks nominate their favorite faculty members that have been committed to academic excellence, helping their students, and often helping the Greek Community as well. This is an excellent opportunity to honor those professors who have helped students and publicly acknowledge their superior teaching skills.
Day of Demeter
A day that Cornell Greeks take to the streets of College Town and pick up trash from the streets, as well as work on planting flowers and mulching Greek Park.

Chapter Philanthropies
Most chapters hold their own philanthropic events throughout the year. These events range from charity concerts to throwing pies at members of Cornell's administration, but they all serve noble causes.
